The Cleveland Indians are among maybe six or more teams trying to add righthander Joe Borowski to their pitching staff. As a Florida Marlin, last year Borowski produced 36 saves, which placed him third in the National League for that stat. But he is currently a free agent, and he has an agent--Ron Shapiro. That would be our General Manager's dad. It would be nice if they could cut a deal.

Do you really want a closer who would be going on his seventh team if he signs with Cleveland? Are you going to get the Borowski of 2006 or 2005?
If he is the bridge to Cabrera or Sipp, don't overpay.
